What types of pets are supported?

Petinger primarily supports dogs and cats. Some Pet Sitters may accept other pets, which will always be clearly stated on their profile.

Is Petinger available only in Cyprus?

The platform is currently based in Cyprus, with plans to expand to other regions as the community grows.

Do I need to download an app?

No. Petinger works directly through your browser, simple, fast, and accessible anywhere.

How do I find the right Pet Sitter for my pet?

You can filter Pet Sitters by location, availability, price, pet type, and services. Each profile helps you understand if it’s the right fit before booking.

Can I talk to a Pet Sitter before booking?

No. Communication with the Pet Sitter happens after the booking process. However before completing your booking, you’ll have a dedicated section where you can clearly input your pet’s needs, habits, and any special requirements. This ensures the Pet Sitter has all the necessary information upfront and can confirm the stay with full confidence.

How do I know I can trust a Pet Sitter?

Each Pet Sitter has a detailed profile with photos, reviews, and experience details. Trust is built through transparency, reviews, and verified activity on the platform.

Can I meet the Pet Sitter before leaving my pet?

Meeting the hoster before booking is completely optional and is the responsibility and choice of each Pet Parent. Many users choose to arrange a meet & greet beforehand to get to know the hoster and see how they interact with their pet. Once the booking is completed, both parties can communicate directly through the platform to coordinate all details related to the stay.

What if my pet has special needs or medication?

You should always inform the Pet Sitter before booking. This includes medication, diet restrictions, behavior notes, or any medical conditions.

Will I receive updates during the stay?

Yes. Most Pet Sitters send photo updates and messages so you can stay reassured while your pet is being cared for.
